Serious Farm

Why do you think Farmer Fred feels sad when he sees that the animals are gone?  Use examples from the story.

  2. Cause he bought some animals so that tells you he loves his animals so he got sad. He didn't have any company that is why he is sad.I think he just wants company all the time.I also think he is a animal lover like me. This is my favorite book so far.

  10. He feels sad because he said later on in the story that the animals were his family. Also that the animals thought that Farmer Fred never had laughter and he was always extremely serious.Crystal Meadows (I like this book too so far)

  11. He feels sad because the animals are gone. They left because the farm was too sereious. He did not like that feeling.
